Township Supervisors
As a second-class Township according to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Rush Township is governed by three (3) members of the Board of Supervisors.
Supervisors set policy, approve budgets, approve expenditures, hire and fire personnel, approve zoning changes and subdivisions, appoint members to boards and commissions, and decide how to operate the township. Their terms are six (6) years each.
The supervisors meet at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month at the Rush Township Municipal Building, Route 54, Hometown.
