Police Department
The Rush Township Police Department is dedicated to the safety and protection of residents, business owners, and visitors, and provides around-the-clock services utilizing state-of-the-art law enforcement tools. Officers vigilantly patrol 71 miles of state, township, and private roadways and work hard to prevent crimes from occurring and preserving the quality of life the community currently enjoys. Officers are greatly involved with the community and participate in many programs and events geared toward the youth of the community and the betterment of the community as a whole.
Rush Township police officers – along with the township fire department and emergency medical professionals – are dispatched via the state-of-the-art Schuylkill County Communications Center.
