3. PUBLIC COMMENT –
Air Products presented a check for $12,500 to Rush Township for the emergency generator.
Marion Lazur questioned whether or not the Rush Township logo will be changed.
Marion Lazur asked who the emergency responders were during the winter storm.
Jerome Tracy asked about sewer on Lincoln Drive.
Daniel Metzger questioned what is going to be done about ash pickup.
Many residents spoke of the Bill Boyer case concerning the road behind his home.
4. POLICE REPORT – Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
5. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING – March 14, 2013. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
6. TREASURERS REPORT – As of March 31, 2013. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
7. APPROVAL OF CURRENT TOWNSHIP AND SEWER BILLS THRU April 30, 2013. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
8. MUNICIPAL REPORTS (SEWER, ROAD, ARRO). Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.

10. ATTORNEY’S BUSINESS – Ruling from Commonwealth regarding Romanick

A) Motion made for Sedco to defer payment for building. Motion made by Chairman Gilbert. Motion seconded by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
B) Motion for Elden Neifert, Andrew Morgan, Dennis Rupert, Michael Zimmerman to attend chainsaw safety training on May 6, 2013 from 8 am to 3 pm and be paid regular wage. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
C) Motion to allow High Mountain Dirt Riders to hold the “Shotgun Enduro Race” on Sunday, June 16, 2013 starting at 8:00 am, using the roads in the Township. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
D) Motion to appoint Michael Zimmerman as full-time Equipment Operator/CDL Truck Driver/Laborer/Sewer Assistant at rate of $16.50 per hour. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
E) Motion to appoint Andrew Morgan as full-time Equipment Operator/CDL Truck Driver/Laborer at the rate of $13.50 per hour. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
F) Motion for Adam Sinton to attend North American Standard Level 1 Inspector Certification Training from May 6, 2013 to May 17, 2013 and May 29. 2013 to May 31, 2013 and be paid his regular wage and mileage. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
G) Bid opening. Equipment rental with operator – Tropp Contracting Inc. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Chairman Gilbert. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. Supervisor Motroni voted against.
13. SUPERVISORS COMMENT –
Ash pick up will be on Thursday’s, please call the office to be added to the list.
AN ELECTRONIC RECYCLING EVENT WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 20TH
FROM 9 AM TO 1 PM AT THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING.
