On Thursday, June 8th, 2023, the road crew will be cutting back trees throughout the township. ON THIS DAY ONLY, they will also pick up any bundled branches the residents have at curbside; however, RESIDENTS MUST CALL THE OFFICE @ 570-668-2938 TO REPORT THEIR ADDRESS in order for the branches to be collected.
Leaves and branches need to be curbside in your yard by Friday May 5th. Leaves do not need to be bagged, however, branches must be bundled.
Rush Township is still recycling! Please continue to recycle. This helps to keep our garbage costs down and helps conserve our planet!
The office will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023 in Observance of the Easter holiday. The office will also be closed on April 24th and 25th due to a conference.
